Members EvanAgee
Hey all! Just got a Line 6 Pod Pro (awesome) and I'm trying to figure out how to connect it to my Mac so I can use the Line 6 Edit software to configure my patches. From what I can tell there are two options for connecting the unit to a computer: 1. USB cable (if the particular Line 6 unit has that capability) 2. A MIDI cable Here's the problem, the Pod Pro doesn't have a USB output and my PowerMac G5 doesn't have a 5pin MIDI port. So, what are my options for connecting the Pod to my computer? Anyone had any luck with doing this?
Members carrier street
There's a MIDI to USB cable that Line 6 recommends. The name of it escapes me right now. If i figure it out, I'll let you know.

Members Ultra.Fuzz
Oh wait... It's the POD PRO, not the XT PRO... Humm... Yeah, you need a MIDI > USB thingy.
Members TheGareth
The Pod Pro should also work for you in Garageband, right?
Members EvanAgee
The Pod Pro should also work for you in Garageband, right? Correct. The problem I'm having is different, I'm wanting to connect the unit so I can edit my settings using Line 6's editing software, which requires either a USB or MIDI connector. Thanks guys! I'll look into it more.
