Members shadowshocker
Hey, I'm trying to setup a Verbzilla into a sampler using the stereo outputs, but the sampler only has one stereo line in jack. Would getting a 1m 2f instrument y-cable work for keeping it in stereo? Something maybe like this?http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Horizon-1M2F-Guitar-Y-Cable?sku=336211 Thanks
Members jorhay1
What kind of sampler?
Members jorhay1
anyway, if your sampler has a single stereo input (which is possible but strange), the cable in your link is wrong. You need an insert cable like this:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navigation?q=insert+cable your link is mono cable
Members shadowshocker
The sampler is a Korg Es-1. It has only one input for either mic/line.

Members jorhay1
wait are you talking about the electribe?lolI have one!I 'll take a look
Members andreas
Ok, I had a look. The ES-1 has a stereo 1/4" input jack, so you'll need a regular insert cable (2 mono 1/4" -> 1 stereo 1/4") to carry the two outputs from the Verbzilla into the sampler. The link jorhay1 provided will do you right /Andreas
Members jorhay1
yeah you need to take the 2 mono sides of an insert cablehttp://www.musiciansfriend.com/navig...q=insert+cablefrom the verbzilla and plug the stereo 1/4 into the electribe. or; You can get a 1/4" m/m female to stereo male adapter at radio shackand just use guitar cables
Members jorhay1
If the sampler only has a mono input, you're better off running the Verbzilla in mono (mono in-mono out -> sampler). Summing the two outputs from the pedal into a mono input (using some sort of special 2 tele -> mono 1/8" Y-cable) could give you phase issues. If the sampler's input is actually stereo (a stereo 1/8" jack, with the tip and ring connections feeding separate channels) you need an insert cable + a stereo 1/4" -> stereo 1/8" adapter (the kind you'd use to hook up regular headphones to an Ipod headphone jack). That adapter could be useful either way, but if the sampler's input is just a regular mono jack, stick to mono throughout, to help avoid phase issues./Andreas Its Stereo 1/4" line, switchable to 1/4" mono mic
