Members ThomasDELUXE
Hey there I bought myself a nice rocktron replifexquestion is: To use the effects loop of my amp, will I need a special sort of cable (patch cables..?) or will a short instrument cable do? another question: I read that it's pretty useless to put distortion pedals in the fx loop is it the same for wah-wah pedals?I have a morley bad horsie, is it best that I keep it in front of the amp? Members Lanefair
Most instrument cables will be fine for the fx loop. You could try the wah in the loop but traditionally it's better off before the amp. You're more likely to get insane feedback with the wah in the loop. Members Mind_Riot89
Keep the distortion pedals out of the loop, that can actually damage the amp.
Members kyrreca
The effects loop is suited for delay/reverb and modulation effects, particularly if you use amp distortion.
