Members bluehuricane
if you were to watch a bond movie with a girlfriend, which would you choose? i like them all, but realize a lot of them could bore the average 17 year old girl... it has to be bond because i'm trying to educate her (SHE'S NEVER HEARD OF 007!!!) Members larry50
Any of the Sean Connery movies (Dr. No , From Russia with Love, Goldfinger , Thunderball , You Only Live Twice ,Diamonds Are Forever, and Never Say Never Again). They stopped being good after he quit.
Members bluehuricane
i agree that those are the best, but i'm thinking mainly chick-friendly. and when i think girl-friendly bond i think pierce brosnan
Members Jules-RM
never heard of 007...sheesh kebab I wouldn't be surprised. The franchise has been a joke for the last 30 years or so. And all the good ones were very sexist by todays PC standards, I could imagine a 17 year old girl getting pissed off. Not to mention that while the pacing was very fast for the 60s, they crawl compared to modern "film" - especially to teenagers with ADD. I guess you could try "From Russia With Love", she'd be a keeper if she likes Connery.

Members Collapse
I'd watch Casino Royale because it wasn't a boring piece of {censored} like most of them. And unless she's really into movies, she isn't going to want to watch an old one even if it is one of the decent ones.

It depends on what you want out of it... The two most 'romantic' Bonds are the newest one and "Under Her Majesty's Secret Service". I'd honestly go with a Brosnan or newer, though. Any non-fan isn't going to 'get' the older ones right off the bat. "Goldeneye" was probably the hardest to follow; maybe "Tomorrow Never Dies"? Members bluehuricane
i own tomorrow never dies... not a bad choice. and i know it's not about the movie, but in this case, i'm trying to educate.
Members whoismilan
I'd go for the first one, Dr. No. It's just a really good movie imo, and also the "it's the first one"-thing. Or maybe something like Goldfinger or Moonraker which has some of the more memorable Bond villains?
Members skitzy
if you want to educate, Dr No. if you want her to like 007, i'd say goldeneye.
