I've read some silly rumors and speculation about maybe having Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin or Johnny Depp as the Riddler. But I think either could be risky territory. Those villains risk being too cartoonish, while the current incarnation of Batman seems to be striving more for realism (as much as you can have at least in a story based on a comic book).
