For a good reason of course, it's a really cool effect. Since there aren't too many video demos available, I was planning to make one myself, but I couldn't get the video crap to work. So I did the second best thing: I recorded a sound clip in which I try to demonstrate some of the sounds you can get out of a Wah Probe. The sound quality could have been a lot better, but the combination of digital conversion and my terrible recording skills screwed it up. At least you get the idea of what it sounds like in person. First there are a few notes of the clean sound, then the WP is added. At around 2:15, I add some delay, then some overdrive at 2:50. Fuzz Factory enters at 3:33. I've only played a Morley Wah once (I don't remember the model), and I seem to remember that it had a "synthy" tone somewhat similar to the probe. When you get used to it, you can pretty good wacka-wacka sounds. There's not much of it in the clip, because I'm not that good at it. This focuses on the low to mid are of it's sweep and gives a great porno style wacka wah.Having been though almost all the Teese wahs and tweaking the RMC3 endlessly I found what I'd been looking for all along as soon as I tried the Wah Probe. The sweep is wide, clean and smooth, it's got this filter-like "tubey" sound to the low end and "phaserish" highs, but the middle sounds very much like a vocal Vox sweep to me.
