Members jhamnett
I'm installing new pickups into my Strat. It's been a long process because most of my time has been spent between work and apartment hunting. I'm also putting in the Dan Armstrong "Super Strat" Switching and a killswitch. So I have the switches all wired up and put in the bridge pickup. Works fine. Then I try the middle. Doesn't fit. Same for the neck. OK, so I'm replacing lace sensors on the neck and middle. I had a tech put in a SD Little '59 in the bridge when I first got it so I'm thinking he made some room for the pup. Now, should I try to expand the hole or just take it all to a tech (my wiring isn't the best, so I'd ask for that to be replaced)? Anyone do this before? All new pups are Bill Lawrence L-200s. Also, feeler spam for the other pups if interested (SD Little '59 Bridge, Lace Sensor Set: red, silver, blue).
Members bowlingshirt
Is it the pickguard or body routing that isn't large enough Either way, a dremel tool can be your friend.

It's the pickguard. Yeah, I could get a dremel, but I'm thinking it might be best to take it to a tech anyway
