I have a 65 Twin Reverb RI, and i love the sound of it, but i was wondering about pulling the power tubes... I know i would pull the 1 and 3 or 2 and 4th tubes, but when i do this the impedance will double, correct? Would I hurt my amp at all if i played it at the wrong impedance? Thanks!!! Members duncan Posted September 9, 2008 Members Share Posted September 9, 2008 if you pull tubes, pull the outside pair. if you do this, you need to adjust your impedance. if you're using a 16 ohm cab, go 8 ohms. if you have an 8 ohm cab, go 4 ohms.
