IMO vintage is pre 1970 strats, pre '75 gibsons, tonebenders, early muffs, etc. turret board/HW/tag board amps pre 1970. everything else is old. Members Loobs Posted November 7, 2008 Members Share Posted November 7, 2008 Joe, Adam, Martin, Flea (and Simone ) are top people. Their vintage & custom shop prices really aren't that stupid either. Bare in mind that the majority of guitars they have to bring over from the states - I've seen some VERY reasonable prices on rare or vintage guitars in there. Most of the their custom shop Fenders that they sell are quite a bit more reasonable than the competition. They will also usually give great deals with the pedals, are friendly (the only store with nice staff in Denmark St), knowledgeable and let you play any gear without giving you a dickhead attitude.
