Oh the shame, my youngest announced last night that for Christmas he would like a drumkit please and thankyou very much, he has his heart set on one of these babies

and who can blame him, anyway now I've got over the shock does anyone know any good jokes about drummers ( at least its not the bass )

Nice one, I always wondered if he was going to turn out with a musical inclination like me, for the last month or so he's been learning to play at school on a proper kit, this gizmo will be home practice

My theory is that boys want to be like their dad. If dad plays an instrument routinely, the kid will likely want to, too. I know that for me, my dad would occasionally play the piano at night while I was drifting off to sleep. I loved hearing that in my dreams. If I had to pinpoint any specific event that fed my desire to play, it was that right there.
