Is it impossible to make it today with the same specs? Ibanez did with the AD-9, so why not Boss? They certainly know. How else do you explain the RE-20. Or those ridiculously over priced Deluxe/Bassman in a box stompboxes. They probably just don't see a big enough market to warrant spending time/money on a DM-3 reissue when they've already got several COSM pedals that emulate it.
