Members southpaw pete
I really like my BD-2 for low to mid gain rhythm stuff. Been trying to find the right lead tones though - something I can stack in front of the BD-2 for a little more juice. I've tried the Bad Monkey - and while decent, it kinda lost some of the clarity of the top end. Also tried the Dano TOD and Drive, and they worked well, but I'm not all that happy with the footswitches (I usually can maybe give half a glance on the floor to see where I'm going, and I prefer the nice big Boss pedal style to aim for). Any advice or ideas?

Members Dreampop6279
move the bad monkey after the bd2. Volume up high, tone and gain to taste if needed.
Members dwerlin
You try an SD-1? I had an SD-1 -> BD-2 setup for a little while, it worked out decent.
Members J.Paul
I use the Sparkledrive for that it adds clarity and punch I route the VD after the BD (my preference) but it also works well the other way.....
Members Old Fart Rocker
Put a EHX LPB-1 in front of the BD-2. I've done it and it sounds great. It will give you the boost for solos and fatten up your tone with a little more gain. They are only around $40.

When I had these on my board, I had the BD2 into the CMATMODS SD-1 GT. This worked very well. THe BD-2 into a most fuzzes sounded good too.
