Members petejt
From just listening to the song, I'm guessing that a Fender Stratocaster guitar was used, a Marshall amp, maybe a dirt pedal for a little grit(?) & sustain on the leads, and definitely a flanger pedal. And possibly a harmonisor pedal too for the harmony parts at the end....? Anyway, I tried replicating the flanger effect and despite my knowledge of chorus pedals I fell flat on my face . I just couldn't get the sound using my flanger (TC Electronic Stereo Chorus/Flanger). I ran it mono, stereo, fast, slow, I'm sure there was something I wasn't doing right. So, I'm curious if anyone knows what settings were used to create that flanger effect? And also possibly what particular flanger was used?
Members blueduck577
put the flanger pre-dirt and a slower setting, with a generous amount of feedback (intensity on the tc electronic). tweak the depth to taste
