Members Agreed
Not fishing for compliments, though I do appreciate the kind words. It's just an aspect of my overall feelings as a musician, really, I always compare myself to my inspirations and it seems like there is an unbridgeable gap between my talent and creativity and theirs. For example, Stevie Wonder made the album Innervisions at 23. Clearly I will never be anything approaching the musical genius of Stevie Wonder, but I feel like there's just so much to learn and I can't ever seem to measure up to my desired playing ability. There are musical ideas that I feel I can't properly express because my chops aren't there. Anyway, this is derailing, I apologize for that - I will definitely keep right on making clips, even though they're sloppy and whatever. I know folks are mostly listening to the PRODUCT, not the player, and so I try to make sure I'm doing a competent demo of the product, whatever my thoughts on my own abilities. Members LR Weizel
I might wait and get my parents to pick one up when they go stateside, save the cost of shipping and give them something to get me as a present. Are there any easy to find music stores in Boston that would stock one?
