I think it was one of those designs that never really caught fire for EHX at the end of the 70s, like the Talking Pedal or the Bad Stone treadle. Toe down is effect only, and heel down is direct only. I guess the idea was to be able to play bass lines with guitar, then switch smoothly back to guitar I know that doesn't seem very exciting (hence why it never caught on as an EHX classic), but I have some ideas for how I'm going to incorporate it. I think the fuzz circuit was only incorporated into the Deluxe version. From what I understand, it was a Muff Fuzz (or Little Muff Pi) circuit placed in series with the filter, but I don't know if it was before or after the filter.
