Members LR Weizel
Just wondering. I was looking into getting an interface to use with my Mic so I could actually properly record stuff to it... but I was wondering how the Micro BR was in place of a preamp/AD converted? It'd be handy because I wouldn't need to have it hooked up to a computer the whole time.

Members Bulldog101
I have the BR 600 and it does well with mics. The built in mics are handy but I use a sm57 for close micing
Members lowbrow
I've used my BR with a mic and, while the sound quality is good, the overall level is too low to be useful to me. I have yet to try a pre-amp with it, but I really want to.

Good to know, thanks! I shall be looking for some sort of pre-amp now. I've seen Fostex and similar gear pop up locally for cheap.
