Members LR Weizel
I heard there was a way of loosening up a bit but I can't seem to find it at the moment, any ideas?

Members L_Z_nut
Are you talking about the tension of the foot treadle? There's a bolt and nut on the lower sides. Adjust away.

Though a little loosening, just a little, goes a long way. Too much and it won't stay heel down, if that matters to you, it'll just flop around. Members hosebeast
i took off the rubber feet things on the bottom side of the pedal so i can always keep it engaged in the octave up setting and use it whenever. it's still a bit of a chore to move it back and forth. isn't there a type of goo you can get to put on it somewhere? Members L_Z_nut
In order to put "goo" on it, you'd have to remove the nut an bolt holding treadle in place and lube it up. Might as well just loosen it up a bit instead since it's much easier and faster. And like Mr. Fancy Pants said a little goes a long way.
