Members forprescription
just wondering what everyone uses as a case for a diy pedalboard. I've made a pedalboard but can't find a case that fits it nicely. I have a few suitcases but they dont fit. It seems like finding the perfect sized suitcase is very difficult. anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Members smudge_lad
My last pedalboard was one of those ones that come in it's own flight case, so was a perfect fit, but I had to have some foam custom fitted to the roof of the case, so that the board didn't move, or pedals fall off while I was carrying it. Could you just find a case that is slightly bigger, and fill it with foam, to hold your board secure? I'm in the process of making my own board, so was thinking about going down this route. Members THAT4301
Depends on the measurements. There are places that will build you one to order. I got a 10x16x5" flight case from oxfam once for

Members ItchyFingers
Try checking out the keyboard bags of whatever shop/online store you shop at. Here's what I use for my GORM - fits perfect...

Members Skunx
Look at goodwill, st vinnies, etc. for a suitcase that is close to dimensions then fit it with foam to take up excess. Neoprene is pretty cheap and closed cell so it won't absorb water. You can sometomes score hardcases on the cheap from Home Depot or Lowes also.
