Members Dr.Pain-MD
Well, my Russian muff's battery (last edition) died after 6 months of light-moderate use (could have been a shitty battery too).

Bear in mind, when cables are plugged into the input or output of any pedal, the battery will be drained, regardless of if the pedal is on or off. I knew about the input being plugged in drains the battery, but the output as well? hmm interesting...
Members sabriel9v
I'm not 100% sure about the output comment, but I'm paranoid about battery life and unplug both the input and output cables from any battery powered device immediately after playing live. Those are the first things I unplug.
Members woolyh
I got a Big Muff/Wicker about 5 months ago and the Duracell Plus PP3 is still going strong, you only need to unplug the input and i hate having to unplug everything so i got some cheap 9v cables, chopped the ends off and just plug them in when i'm done playing
Members Liberty Belle
They last a while. If you disconnect the LED it will last almost 4 times longer as a muff on average consumes about 5.2mA's but with no LED it only consumes around 1.6mA. LED's chew more power than a lot of effects themself. LED's are the problem.
