Members hooya Posted March 11, 2010 Members Share Posted March 11, 2010 That isn't to say that it isn't possible for all effects, but it depends on how the switching is wired in the original. Basically you need to make sure the actual effect is "on" all the time, then wire the switch to the right ins and outs and it'll go. Members andreas Posted March 12, 2010 Members Share Posted March 12, 2010 Simply replacing the stock footswitch for a 3PDT won't do anything, unless you also wire the circuit up for true bypass. How to do that depends on the pedal in question. But there will always be some rewiring involved. It's never a straight drop-in thing - if it were, the pedal would already have been true bypass...
