Members Mister Zero
I have the V2 and to me the Hyde side is definitely coming from the Rat family. The Jeckyl side I use to tighten up crunch rhythmn and leads on my 6505+. I rarely use the Hyde side bedcause....I have a 6505+.
Members crowguitar
I have the V1 Red one as well. It can get noisy, but that's really only if you're going full gain all the time on both channels and stacking them. Otherwise it's not anymore noisy than most standard dirt pedals. I use the TS side for a smooth lighter overdrive, and the Distortion side to get some hard rock/ fluid lead tones. but if you back off on it you can really a ton of sound options. Stacking them always worked fine for me. Just depends on the sound you're goin for. This pedal has been on countless Major Label & indie recordings, plus a ton of tours..never had a problem with gettin a great sound live or in the studio.
