Members CrowShack
Went to Jim Campilongo's regular Monday night gig at the Living Room NYC. A smokin' set, as usual. Special guest tonight was Nels Cline, so I had a feeling the little space would be crowded. I underestimated just how packed, and we didn't get there early enough to get seats or even get close. I didn't get any good pics, couldn't get close to the stage to see Nels' board. He had some cool sounding fuzz / envelope filter going on. They closed with "Third Stone From The Sun". It was all pretty loose sounding, they rehearsed one time at soundcheck and that was it My pictures suck. The drummer, Tony Mason, is covered up in both pics. He's an awesome drummer, goes from jazzy brushwork to Texas two-step to pounding ROCK.
