Members ClavAnother
I just got a soundclick account because a suppose I can post a bunch of chunes inside of the internet there. I have hundreds of recordings so I thought I would put up some weird {censored} first. I Choose You is a recording I made one night that is basically a multi-track improv with an Oberheim OB-8 and a TR-505 that had the tempo dial stuck on the way-too-{censored}ing-much setting. I doesn't seem to me to represent what I usually do, so I don't really know where it came from, but... Why don't you tell me what you think of when you hear it? Thanks! Members ChristianRock
You had me at OB-8. You don't have that synth anymore (I haven't seen it in your pics)? What happened?
Members ClavAnother
Indeed, I loved that synth. And yes, I speak in the past tense. I sold it to some bloke in the UK last autumn, for I was in dire need of more federal reserve notes - seeing as how they are worth sh*t.
Members Purity_Control
not bad. something about it reminds me of godley and creme's under your thumb. it sounds like it's getting away from you a bit though... or maybe it was just getting away from me a bit:confused:

One of the tracks is totally getting away, but I won't use midi unless my family is threatened. It is synced by ear, but this one had some unusual properties to the patch itself that made it so that even I could not sync it properly. Plus the tempo knob on the drum machine was dubious at best. Members ChristianRock
Yeah it did get off tempo there for a little while. Edit: you got me there CA...

Members ElectricPuppy
I honestly don't know what if that reminds me of anything or not. Sounds like it it could be fleshed-out to something more.

Members ClavAnother
Under Your Thumb Ha! OK at first I thought you might be talking about something more like toe jamb for fingers; I had no idea it was a band. Is it because of the beat? Members suitandtieguy
midi is for pussies no, clock is for people that like to keep things in time. you can use discrete pulse trains, Sync24, or MIDI if you like, but time is important to keep things in time.
