Supposedly, he picked up a trumpet, played C above the staff, and never looked back! Paul Cacia does a lot of that same super-high playing, without getting old and annoying in 20 seconds. He once KILLED a microphone by playing a triple high F# at it! The mic never worked again! BTW, I believe triple F# is 7 ledger lines above the treble clef...
