Members AlexStec Posted February 10, 2011 Members Share Posted February 10, 2011 Let's face it : MAXON is the company who used to build the original TS for IBANEZ.So, rather than a TS808 clone, the OD808 could be called a repackaged Tubescreamer.It has the original chip.I like its mxr format better than the IBANEZ.And it delivers!Being used to a T-Rex Moller (excellent by the way), I find that the OD808 actually has a distinctive mid bump, which will be useful.Can't wait to test it with different combinations of guitars (335, 360-12, Tele and Strat) and amps (Blues Deluxe, AC30).Tell me about your favorite settings etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
