Members MuyLoCo444
I have an orange/red Univox with a bluish-green switch. I checked the pots and they read '7005'. According to Analogman's website, these numbers would mean the 5th week of 1970. I find this to be odd though because this particular color is said to have been started around '73 onward. Am I reading the pots right? Anyone that knows a lot about these pedals, what do you think?
Members nightraven
shin-ei bought the pots in crazy bulk i'd imagine since they made a heck of a lot of gear. early 70's sounds right. the orange/red ones are the later versions.

Members nightraven
no, what analogman said is probably right. at least 73. they bought {censored} loads of pots to use in all their stuff. just like you find pots dating to 1966 in fender blenders.
