Members J.Paul
...was all the way across town (30 miles away) running gear errands today and had time/opportunity to check out our local Wampler distributor. I love the Johnny Highland pedal samples online and have been wanting to try it in person. It failed. It was harsh and shrill (single and humbucker)....then I tried the Brent Mason Hotwired. I'm in love. It has beef, definition, a nice transient on top of the gain, and can be versatile as well....like it better than the BB+ (which is currently my #2 on my pedalboard). .....also traded stuff today for an Analogman 3 knob CompROSSer. I like it. My main thing is a Tone Press and it's great, super subtle, but the Analogman. Wow.Nice and springy. Not subtle. The lows go right through and the highs seem to be enhanced (or herded into a team....as my ears interpret it). Its price point is justified when it's A/B'd with a stock Dynacomp. ...just bored...thought I'd add another post to my count.blah blah
Members A.P. Ryder
Analogman's stuff always impresses me. The Comprosser (2 knobber) was the first and only compressor I bought - going on 11 years now.
