Members bean7
Seems a bit of a stupid request - but other than a fuzz face.. is there any other pedal that does that bright, compressed and slightly gritty clean sound you get with a fuzz face and the guitar volume turned down a bit? Was thinking maybe a compressor with EQ might get close.

Members JDE
SHO's sound a bit like that to me, although uncompressed.

Members erksin
Formula No. 5 does that. It's typical of a rolled back tweed sound.
Members Reauchambeau
BYOC Leeds Fuzz, the rolled back volume tone is like having a second pedal, it's amazing. Monsterpiece NPN cleans up incredibly well too.

Members erksin
Any decent Fuzz Face had better do it - it's 1/2 the reason to use a FF in the first place.

I have an original Super Fuzz and it doesn't do it like the Leeds Fuzz.
