Members Fine_Young_Fool
Does anyone have suggestion for good books on learning synthesis? After looking around Amazon for all of 10 seconds I found How To Make a Noise (http://www.amazon.com/How-Make-Noise-Simon-Cann/dp/0955495504/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227499397&sr=1-1), which looks pretty good. Also found this one (http://www.amazon.com/Welshs-Synthesizer-Cookbook-Programming-Universal/dp/B000ERHA4S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227499397&sr=1-3). Does anyone else know of some other good ones? Who has learned synthesis this way? Thanks for your patience.
Members grumphh
If you don't need a physical book, this series of articles will teach you all the basic concepts of subtractive synthesis, and has a bit on digital too. http://www.soundonsound.com/search?page=3§ion=/&Keyword=synth%20secrets
