Members almost enough
I took my electric rig out to my guitar class to let my students try out some real gear, and teach them about how the electric guitar and an amplifier works. I plugged in my amp, power supplies for my pedals, and let her rip. After about 20 minutes of the students playing, my Flanger Hoax started to make a weird low hum when engaged. I didn't think much of it, until about 5 minutes later I heard a pop from the amp, and the Flanger Hoax power LED wouldn't glow anymore. I promptly unplugged all the power supplies, and noticed that the Flanger Hoax wall wart was WAY hot. When I got home, I opened up the pedal, and nothing looks burnt, or smells burnt, or looks out of place. However, I still don't get power. The power supply doesn't heat up anymore, either. Could this be a problem with the power supply shorting out and not even getting power anymore? Or could that just be a symptom or a reaction to a bigger problem in the Flanger Hoax itself?
