Members sunburstbasser Posted June 21, 2006 Author Members Share Posted June 21, 2006 I'm familiar with Schilkes a bit. I want a horn that isn't a Bach, pretty much. I own a Bach, played a few others and copies, and just don't like them. Plus, I really like Schilke mouthpieces. And I contacted them, and the B5 was one of the all-around good horns that they recommended to me. Unfortunately, I was at work when the auction ended, so no new trumpet for me.
