Members Player99
without drilling anything? I have a 2010 and it has those old style tuners with the backlash and low gear ratio for bad tuning and stability. Any recommendations?
Members Poltergeist
Grovers are usually cheap and work really great. i've have good luck with Gotoh and Schaller Locking Tuners as well.

Members brokenfixed
I hear ya about not wanting to drill. I put spurzels on my SG. Drilling was {censored}ing scary and I'd consider myself pretty experienced with power tools.I thought Grovers were direct replacements with no drilling. I don't want to have to make the holes for the shafts bigger or drill new screw holes either. I hate when tuners are changed and then the guitar cannot be original ever again... Someone here must know the right tuners with something like 18:1 ratio?
Members thegamestop
I replaced the tuners on a SG faded model. I used grovers, they fit perfectly and used the bottom hole from the gibson deluxe tuneres. Put the gibson ones back on when I sold it.
