Members ry1633
Hey all, On Curt Mitchell's VH instructional DVDs, he does the tape echo "divebomb" with a BOSS DD2 or DD3. I emailed him back and forth many years ago and he couldn't quite remember how he did it exactly, but he said it had something to do with the hold function and related settings. My question is: I have a BOSS DD6, can I do that trick with the newer pedal? I vaguely remember corresponding with some folks from BOSS who told me that I couldn't do that with the newer DD6. Can anyone help me out? thx, ryan
Members hangwire
can you post a clip, I dont remember any non whammy bar EVH stuff anymore
Members ry1633
The original EVH does it with Univox tape echo unit - he said so interviews and you can tell on the recording cuz the note goes way lower than a whammy bar ever could plus you can hear the tape motor on the fadeout. Curt does it with a BOSS DD2 on the video, unfortunately I can't find a clip
