Members chu2
I just got a crate CR-19 off ebay for 42 bucks (with shipping!). I hear the vintage Crates are a lot better then the new ones. The things got a nice tolex covering, and from what i've read on the HC reviews, the CR series was pretty well made. I'm hoping that it makes a fairly good practice amp. I really bought it for that uniqueness factor of having an amp no one else has. Hey, what more could you want for less than 50 bucks? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7355767743&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

Members chu2
yeah. Just hope it works. Last electronics thing I bough off "fleabay" (a technics 60+1 cd player) had parts rattling around inside and arrived on its side, even though it had a this side up-fragile sticker on it. Took me an hour to figure out what was worng, and then another half-hour to fix it. ugh. It seems the US Postal Service flips fagile things upside down on purpose, sometimes. Lets just hope for better this time.
Members blackba
That model kind of looks like an actual crate. I have seem pictures of the early ones where the amp is literally inside a crate, hence the name.
