Members augerinn
I just found a way to make playing more enjoyable, and hence, play more. And it was really simple. I sit. I lowered my 2 tier so the bottom keyboard is at piano height, and use my piano bench. Now my computer screen is just to the left of me, as is my 12 space rack, and I can actually read the front panels..... I'm still a long way from turn-it-on-sit-down-and-play, but I'm closer than I was.
Members ElectricPuppy
Welcome to the Sitter's Club! Other things I find helpful:-- Make sure your chair can roll easily. Put a mat under it if you're on carpet.-- Bring your gear as close to you as you can. Bury yourself in gear, it makes it much easier to just reach out and plunk some notes out. Members augerinn
I wish I had more room. A room dedicated to music would be nice.It seems the ultimate in ergonomics would be a U shape of double tiers, with (as you suggested) a rolling chair and a mat.
