I just put a 4x12 horizon cab on layaway, and it's loaded with Lee Jackson speakers. I seem to remember hearing about these brands in my travels but I'm not sure. In any case, a 4x12 for 150 bucks is a good deal and speakers can always be swapped out, so I'm not worred, but just curious what anyone has to say about these two brands. Thanks. Members potaetoes Posted November 21, 2005 Members Share Posted November 21, 2005 I had a Lee Jackson cab (made by horizon) with V30 speakers in it... it was a pretty nice cab. It had a "Speakerline" direct box mounted to the inside of the jack plate, with a line-out jack, which was something I haven't seen on another cab. Members mabus013 Posted November 21, 2005 Author Members Share Posted November 21, 2005 Yeah, I was poking around and it seems that all of the Lee Jackson amps came with Celestions...I wonder if these are just V30s with Lee Jackson stickers on them? Google didn't really turn up anything on Lee Jackson speakers, nor anything on his website. All of the reviews say Celestion speakers too. Man, a set of V30s would be friggin' sweet .
