Members Fxrs Posted November 25, 2005 Members Share Posted November 25, 2005 I bought a Mexi strat a few mos. back, just couldn't get it to play nice w/my amp. (Mesa DC-5). I wanted a strat for the whammy (plus the tones of course) just subtle surf type, not dives, wouldn't stay in tune if I even blew on it. GC is blowing out PRS SE's, I traded my mexi strat +$17 and brought home a sweet maroon Soapbar II. Oh yeah, I bought the strat in Aug. I'm pretty psyched, the p-90's are a little screamier, but still pretty close to my PRS std.22, so I can leave the nice one at home if I want.
