Members Fuzzball24
I'm not sure if this is the right section for MIDI??? But, I'm going to start making electronic type pop with many samples and drum beats. Is the Akai MPD24 good for drums with the pads? Or is it more suited for hip-hop type stuff? Because I want to program my drums with a pad instead of having to use my keyboard.
Members kooki_sf
I like mine... akai makes the nicest of this style of controllers IMHO, the rotary controllers and faders also have a really nice feel. still, try it before you buy.
Members program_insect
I like mine a lot too. Pads seem very sturdy (more so than trigger finger which I also had). Knobs are good too. If you happen to use Ableton Live, the integration is pretty sweet.
Members Swami Digital
Love my MPD24 and it's been at least 12 years since I've done any hip-hop. -D
