Ahhh yes....Birch Hill...Good times...good times.

To watch some of the older Metal folk there would give me the giggles!:p

I remember this cover band "Edgar Casey" were like the house band there, they were pretty damn good. Good guitarist too.

Another excellent call!!:thu:

Ronnie LeTekro sort of flew under the radar but I think that he had more recognition then most of the people mentioned so far.

Ronni Le Tekro from TNT, and Michael Lee Firkins.

Of all those Shrapnel dudes, Michael Lee Firkins and Vinnie Moore were my favorites. I really liked their music as well as the chops. Good call on Mike Slammer, too. Have only heard him on the two Streets albums with Steve Walsh, but wow - great lead and monster rhythm player, so much so that Walsh (who is a monster keyboard player) really dialed his own playing back to accomodate Slamer.

Here's an odd duck kind of thing from the 80s that I really dug, but mostly for the songwriting....anyone remember The Jon Butcher Axis?

Check out Saga's Catwalk (Unabridged).

Ian stretches out for like 10mins +.
