Members cheney50mc
She's 62. She's been doing figure skating for awhile, yesterday she fell, broke her hip and dislocated her shoulder. They called my dad and he got there fast. They live in Montreal (where I'm from) but now I live in Toronto. I was going to drive home this morning but my dad said that she's ok, she'll just have to take it easy for awhile. My parents are really close, they are so awesome, my dad is retired so he'll be with her all the time. Neither of my parents have ever seriously hurt themselves, they've never even been sick for as long as I can remember.I hope the fact that they're both very fit and active will help my mom heal quick.I'm sorry, I'm rambling, I just hard being away from home at a time like this. I hope all of your families are safe and happy.Tell them that you love them.
Members Ben J
Sorry to hear that. If she's fit and active as you say, she'll be healed up quicker than you know it. Prayers and mojo sent.
Members diddlybo
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. A friend's mom broke her hip a couple of years ago, when she was in her late 60's, and now she's doing fine.
