Members Tomkeen
That, my friend, is a vocoder. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocoder I don't think your 201 has one, so you'd have to get a hardware vocoder to achieve such sounds, or alternatively some software (don't know about that btw). There are plenty of boards that have a vocoder, and the microkorg or R3 for instance have really cool ones . The vocoder in my Ion sucks
Members Irish Acts
Yep, vocoder as Tomkeen said, but I believe there is stationary effect sitting over the voice in this song too. Possibly a wah wah effect of all things. Could be just filtering of the Vocoder though. It's hard to tell.

Members Gribs
There are lots of plugin vocoder effects and plugin synths that have vocoders built into them. You can go to kvraudio.com and search the plugin database. I can't remember what DAW you have but you might want to look to see if that has an included vocoder effect plugin. The Waldorf MicroQ has a vocoder effect built in and can be had at a decent price on Ebay, though the prices seem to be ratcheting back up slowly. You could drive one using the MIDI out from your SH-201.
