I don't think your 201 has one, so you'd have to get a hardware vocoder to achieve such sounds, or alternatively some software (don't know about that btw).

 

There are plenty of boards that have a vocoder, and the microkorg or R3 for instance have really cool ones :D. The vocoder in my Ion sucks :p

There are lots of plugin vocoder effects and plugin synths that have vocoders built into them. You can go to kvraudio.com and search the plugin database. I can't remember what DAW you have but you might want to look to see if that has an included vocoder effect plugin.

 

The Waldorf MicroQ has a vocoder effect built in and can be had at a decent price on Ebay, though the prices seem to be ratcheting back up slowly. You could drive one using the MIDI out from your SH-201.
