Members mmetalmilitiaa
I use sennheiser e609's through a mixer then into my soundcard.I'd recomend the e609, great mic. I used them to mic a jimbae (spelling?) the other night and it was great.
Members Songman68
For Dynamic mics I would use the Sennheiser E609 or the audix I5. I have also gotten great results with a vocal condensor Mic. So far I prefer a vocal condensor mic the best. I used a Marshall V67 condensor that I got the good results from. I have also gotten good results from an Audio Technica ATM31A condensor too.
Members joelbah
I think he is also asking about how you mic it? What are the differences between on-axis and off-axis?...on the cone or a little off the cone? How will that affect the tone etc.? I would like to know the answers to this too, specifically for live settings.
