Why can't I have a nice day to do this.... All I'm trying to do is keep my son from taking a swim in the canal when he's running around the back yard... So far, I have the post holes dug, fence all set up.... Just have to do the support post for the gate and put it together.... I'm just going down 2 1/2 feet with pressure treated 4x4's and fastening everything to my deck and shed...:D:D:D A little cheating for this project, but it only has to keep my little guy out of the canal... The posts are like a rock, because it's all damp sand/dirt under my stone.... Nothing a few 3 and 4 inch screws can't support for 2 months... Digging post hole after post hole after post hole......after post hole, after post hole.....SUCKS. I built one fence and vowed to never, ever do it again. Drop the shovel and pay someone.....you don't need any more amps this week. That should free you up to record some more Deliverance clips and fuel my GAS. The only 2 things I will not do is hardcore plumbing and electrical since you have to have permits for those two in NY...I can do it, but the dept of buildings wouldn't like it... It's almost 90 degrees here today, and the wind is blowing 20mph. I don't mind fencing, but I feel for ya, I hate digging anything in the rain. I'm getting a fence here probably this summer but its going to be like 100ft X 50ft and I'm not sure if I can take an entire month off from work to build it.
