Though I did take classical guitar lessons for about a month back when I was 18, and the teacher said I had to do that, which wasn't very appealing to me (and the fact that the teacher was a total jerk made me drop out after only a few lessons...) Members augerinn Posted March 2, 2010 Members Share Posted March 2, 2010 I cut them when they start breaking off when playing. then, like you EP, I experience some dis-comfort for a couple of days. Back in the 80s, I used to heave them break off and bleed while on stage after doing glisses (before I knew how to palm smear). It was a cool effect, the chicks dug it....
