K5. Anyways to make a long story short. i took two pieces of 1/8th thick piping. and dropped 2 spot welds between the front leafs and frame with the pole inbetween. he calls me up after leaving my house and said his front axle was hopping and the front end was stiff. what a {censored}er hahahahahahaha. Most of Donnie's stuff makes me that XXX combo has some of the best cleans I think I've ever heard, I always find myself looking at it to make sure I'm really plugged into it, or something hidden behind it, hahahaI was thinking man, his combo's might be open back, which would make a huuuge difference... that might have something to do with it, it does the classic sound a lot better than yours, and I've never gone crazy with the knobs to see if it will do heavy stuff, so it might not, and that would probably be because its open back... I'll have to look next time I'm there... I don't know if you ever saw us play with Our Last Day, but they are killer dudes, and one of the guitarists has a Diezel VH4... I think his name is Robert, anyway, my bands first show was with one of his bands, and his last show was with my band, haha... small world huh? He's pretty protective of it, but maaaaaybe?!
