No idea. Phone up Marshall, maybe they got one lying around?

I may just tear the amp apart for spare parts. A friend of mine that repairs amps said it's stupid expensive to get the Valvestate Transformer. I guess I got me a bunch of spare parts and a Marshall logo now. hehe.

I'm not sure... but I will say this:

My friend has had a used one for a good four years without replacing the preamp tube, so we went to replace it and couldn't get the plate off and ever since it's been junked, have to turn it up to 10 for normal volumes

you couldn't get the plate off?

what plate do you need to take off to get to the tube? you unscrew this 6 screws on the top, pull out the chassis, swap the tube, and pop it back in.

if you tried it any other way, it sounds like you {censored}ed up a perfectly good amp my friend.
