Members ak50324
Yah, I will be taking a month long trip to india, and since I could never go that long without playing, decided to buy an amp head there. BUT they have a different voltage system there(I live in the US), and I would like to be able to play it here as well, is there anything I could do to "fix" it? Could I just find a differnt Power adaptor or would the whole amp be useless over here? (I'm thinking of a Galien-kruegar that my cousin's music shop has ) HELP

Members TheDarxide
You'll need a step up transfomer. Sure you can get one for less than $50.
Members Earforce
50$ would be cheap. These things get more expensive with the power you (or the amp) need. More Power = More money. You can either buy an external one or ask a tech to change the transformer inside the amp. Edit: Which amp is it you are thinking about?
