Well I came across (what I believe to be) a Series 10 guitar at a local pawn shop. It was super 80's looking and here are the specs:
-Cracked Body Finish
-Similar To a ESP style Headstock (although it was unmarked and flourescent orange)
-H-S-S pup config w/ mini toggle for each. 1 Vol 1 Tone (looked like a Dimarzio Super Distortion in bridge /w black bobbins)
-22 Frets
-Liscened Floyd/locking nut
-Bolt on neck.
I noticed that the locking nuts were in some sort of metal casing where the flat plates slid in a slot while the screws scewed in from the top. The plate on the back of the neck said "Series 10 Professional" with a serial number. And the neck was oddly shaped. It felt like the side was regularly round but when it came to the highest point it almost became flat then rounded back to the other side. Think like a trapazoid. What shape is that called?
Anyways I just wanted to know if anyone on here have had past experiences with these because it was $120.00 out the door and felt like it played good and stayed in tune very well (WAY better than my current guitar LTD M-100). It was missing the top locking nut screw and I did a whole bunch of dives ect. and the E and A strings didnt even go out of tune. So I was just wondering if, based on the description, it would be worth it for the money. Thanks
