Members billcheckrules
In my experiencce with it, it really depends on the amp. I've tried with my Engl Fireball and it made it sound like i was using some {censored}ty processor distortion. Then I tried it with my 5150 and it really brought that amp to life. With the 5150 I never turn it off. It's also all about the placement. Finding the right spot in the chain is the key to its greatness. I run it first in fx loop then the rest of my pedals and it sounds great. Running in different parts of the chain actually changes your tone a bit. Members Banded-Morwong
I like what it does to my cleans but not my distortion
Members 17 Tubes
If you have to use it, you are using the wrong amp. Or something else is wrong. Put in in the PA system or recording rack. Usefor transferring cassette tape to CD.
Members Jcm800_6550
It work Great on the Dsl im getting one soon, some ppl say it kills you live tone, by not cutting but if thats the case ill just turn it off, either way it definetly makes a difference for just u and your amp alone, and if it does make you live rig not cut, crank the midz and the volume
Members sirlimecat
ive found it only works in bedroom playing, it raises the highs and gets rid of low mids pretty much, would work nice after the mix, to the PA
