I used one 3 or 4 years ago for vocals and had no clue what
it was doing.
I sent it down the road.
But I have seen people talk it up here so there must be an
application worth while that I don't know about...

In my experiencce with it, it really depends on the amp.

I've tried with my Engl Fireball and it made it sound like i was using some {censored}ty processor distortion. Then I tried it with my 5150 and it really brought that amp to life. With the 5150 I never turn it off.

It's also all about the placement. Finding the right spot in the chain is the key to its greatness. I run it first in fx loop then the rest of my pedals and it sounds great. Running in different parts of the chain actually changes your tone a bit.

It work Great on the Dsl im getting one soon, some ppl say it kills you live tone, by not cutting but if thats the case ill just turn it off, either way it definetly makes a difference for just u and your amp alone, and if it does make you live rig not cut, crank the midz and the volume :)
