Members JoshuaLogan
wow. well, as a few of you might have seen I was thinking about selling my les paul and my schecter to get a doublecut. part of the reasoning in this was I never fully happy with how the les paul played and sounded. well, i'm not selling either guitars anymore. over the last few days I've gotten the guitar setup how I've always wished it played... it's not quite as easy as the schecter, but it's close and as good as I'd ever need it. feels so much nicer now, but here's the real clincher. somehow with all the adjusting of the tail piece, bridge, and pickup heights I stumbled into some kind of sweet spot and it sounds {censored}ing amazing. I mean, just... holy {censored}. it's like night and day. this is how I've always wanted this guitar to play and sound. it is WAY less muddy now. much clearer and articulate, even without the maple cap. it plays and sounds better than any lp standard I've ever picked up. a good setup can make a world of difference... I'm in love again.

Members JoshuaLogan
I know, man. It probably sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. The difference is just huge.
